Martial Law is a Canadian/American crime drama starring renowned martial arts actor Sammo Hung as Chinese cop Sammo Law. Sammo Law is transferred from his native China to work in America , first in Los Angeles and later in New York City . The program was a surprise hit, however since Sammo Hung did not speak fluent English, he kept relatively quiet, marking Martial Law as having the least amount of dialogue spoken by the lead character.
