Co-created by its star, Don Johnson, this series was a crime drama airing for six seasons, with 122 episodes, from March 29, 1996 to May 4, 2001 on CBS.

Set in San Francisco, Nash Bridges and his partner Joe Dominguez are inspectors in the Special Investigations Unit of the police department.  Their job is to find the criminals and stop the crimes that plague the city.  Nash lured Joe out of retirement to return to the force to partner with him.

Nash, a man who has been divorced twice, and sometimes works undercover going by the name of Teddy Malone, has interesting characters complicating his life, such as his teenage daughter, Cassidy, and his father, Nick, who suffers from mild dementia.

Driving around San Francisco in Nash’s 1971 Plymouth Barracuda, Nash and Joe are sometimes assisted by Harvey Leek, another inspector and a forever fan of the Grateful Dead, and Angel, a man who wanders the streets of San Francisco costumed in robes and angel wings , who often gives Nash advice both of the spiritual and earthly kind.
