As Time Goes By was a British sitcom that aired on BBC One between 1992 and 2002.  The plot revolved around a couple, Second Lieutenant Lionel Hardcastle and Middlesex Hospital Nurse, Jean Pargetter, who were former lovers and come back in contact thirty eight years later.

They soon begin to rekindle their romance and soon are married in season three.  In 2004, the series was rate "Britain's 29th Best Sitcom".
