Joe Rorchek is a battalion fire chief and stern patriarch of a family of dedicated firefighters in Los Angeles. His two sons, Ted and Chris are also firefighters. Haley Green is their love interest and is L.A.'s first female firefighter. 20 episodes aired on ABC from September 20, 1981 to March 28, 1982. Episodes contained fire safety and lifesaving themes for young viewers.
