A Fine Romance was a British sitcom starring the real husband and wife team of Judi Dench and Michael Williams. A Fine Romance focuses on a budding romance between Laura Dalton, a somewhat socially inept middle-aged lady, and Mike Selway, a shy gardener. The duo was set up by Laura 's outgoing younger sister, Helen. Bad luck follows the couple everywhere, trying to foul up a blossoming relationship.
