Mork and Mindy was a television series that was a spin off from Happy Days . It aired on ABC from September 14, 1978 to May 27, 1982. Highly rated in the US, the show ran for four seasons and 95 episodes.
Mork and Mindy starred a new actor, Robin Williams, who played the main character, Mork, who was an alien who came to Earth in a space ship from planet Ork. His mission was to observe human behavior. He lives with a woman , Mindy, who knows he is an alien but allows him to live with her. The story line focuses around Mork trying to understand human behavior.
