Dream House
(1968-1970)
Game Show
Hosted by Mike Darrow
Announced by Chet Gould
This half-hour game show aired on ABC from April, 1968 to January, 1970. The grand prize of the game was a dream house, built where the couple wanted it in the United States. The furnished home had a value of $40,000. The game was played in two rounds, with competing husband and wife couples buzzing in to answer questions about the world they live in. The couple that buzzed in first and answered the question correctly won points, and the two couples with the most points at the end of the game played in the Championship round. The Championship round featured rapid fire questions and the winner of that round would win one room for their dream house. If they can win seven straight games, they will win their dream house.
