Mission Impossible was an American Television series that aired on CBS for a total of seven seasons from September 17th, 1966 to March 30th, 1973 and a run of 171 episodes. It even returned to air on ABC for another two seasons between 1988-1990. Each episode was 52 minutes in length and was produced and created by Bruce Geller.
The plot followed the Impossible Mission Force (IMF) which was a collaboration of a small group of secret agents used to fight missions against dictators, evil organizations and crime lords. The leader of the IMF was Dan Briggs, played by Steven Hill. Due to the use of electronic gadgetry, masters of disguise and a very outlined, detailed attack plan, each episode kept the viewer's attention the whole way through.
