Hogan's Heroes was an American television sitcom that ran for six seasons and 168 episodes from September 17, 1965, to March 28, 1971 on CBS. The show was set in a German prisoner of war (POW) camp during the Second World War.
Colonel Robert E. Hogan was the main character, who had a misfit crew of prisoners running a special operations group. The show was about a POW camp for captured American Allied airmen. These men were war participants that together formed operations of sabatoge towards German Armed Forces. Each episode combined surrealistic antics and action/adventure stories.
