Riverboat is a western television series starring Darren McGavin that was broadcast on the NBC television network from September 13, 1959 until January 2, 1961 that depicted the exploits of Captain Grey Holden and his crew as they navigated the riverboat Enterprise along Mississippi andMissouri Rivers in the West and Midwest during the 1849's. The Captain and crew often encountered interesting characters and adventure along the way.
Riverboat also co-starred Burt Reynolds as Ben Frazer, who was early into his very successful career. After reported disputes with McGavin, Reynolds left the show , and was replaced by Noah Beery, Jr.

The crew of the Enterprise planned a big night on the town . But when they dock, they find the place completely deserted, except for three new graves.

In town to have an aching tooth removed, Carney stops at the saloon for a bolstering drink. This makes him late for the dentist, so Blake undertakes to separate Carney from his tooth.
