A CBS half-hour sitcom that aired from October 4th, 1959 to July 7th, 1963. The show ran for a total of four seasons and 146 episodes. The series was based on the Hank Ketchum comic strip which had the same name. Various films and video games have followed the lead of this television sitcom.
Each episode follows the lives of the Mitchell family which consists of Henry, Alice and their son, Dennis. Dennis's character is a very energetic young boy who is always getting into trouble. He does not mean to cause issues, but it seems like michief follows him. He had a real love/hate relationship with his neighbor, Mr. Wilson, and the majority of the episodes consisted of Dennis getting into some type of trouble which would have an impact on Mr. Wilson's day-to-day living.
