Highway Patrol was an American Action and Crime Drama series that aired from October 3rd, 1955 to September 1st, 1959 for a total of 4 seasons and a total run of 156 episodes.  Each episode was 30 minute in length.
 
The plots for this series centered around Dan Mathews who was the head of the California Highway Patrol police force somewhere in the state which is never disclosed to the viewers.  The storyline had to do with activities of the everyday life of a police officer chasing down criminals.
