This popular game show aired on all three major networks on television in half-hour episodes from 1952 to 1960. NBC broadcast the program in 1952, 1957, 1958-1959, and 1950. CBS broadcast the 1953, 1954, 1958, and 1959 – 1960 seasons. ABC broadcast the program from 1954 – 1956.
A guest personality, disguised by make-up and/or costumes, would be questioned with yes or no questions by five panelists whose job it was to discover the guest’s identity. A dollar was added to the scoreboard for each second of questioning and, whether or not the panel correctly identified the guest, the money accumulated in the score was donated to charity.
