This half-hour program (originally 15 minutes) was hosted by Art Linkletter, and included a monologue by the host, audience quizzes for prizes, musical performances and guest star interviews.

By far the most popular segment was his 'Kids Say the Darndest Things' where he casually interviewed children, never telling them how to answer his questions, and often eliciting unexpected and funny responses.  Over the life of the show it is estimated that he interviewed about 23,000 children.
