The misadventures of Corliss Archer, a pretty, unpredictable teenage girl. Based on the radio program of the same title. Pert blond teenager Corliss Archer must balance her life at school, her lovable but goofy boyfriend Dexter and her well-meaning but clueless parents.
Friends Forever
The Franklins decline a dinner invitation to the Archers’, under false pretenses , so that they can get together with the Wilsons, to plan a surprise party for Harry. But feelings get hurt, when the Archers find the Franklins and the Wilsons socializing, and complications develop when the Franklins must reveal their secret, to restore the peace.
The Vase That Came to Dinner
Janet picks up what she thinks is a rare find, at a knick knack shop: an ugly little $8 vase, which causes quite a bit of trouble and confusion in both the Archer and Franklin homes.
Corliss the Cheerleader
Corliss talks Dexter into asking the handsome, charming head cheerleader, Finly Roberts, to coach her on her cheerleading techniques. After the dashing gentleman wows Corliss, Dexter tries, in vain, to make her jealous, then finally has to get tough when it seems that he’s losing his best girl.
A Date for Doris
Harry and Janet try to help Dexter , when Corliss talks him into finding a rush week date for her heavy, homely, bespectacled friend, Doris Patterson.
