The Creaking Door was a radio series of horror and suspense shows originated in South Africa during the mid-1960s.  A total of 45 episodes aired which consisted of old time radio series of horror and suspense .  Each story was thriller -based and some say this show was a spin off from the already popular Inner Sanctum series.  Peter Broomfield was the announcer and the program aired Saturdays at 9:00 p.m.
