An outstanding horror and fantasy program, created by Wyllis Cooper.  Cooper is the master of the opening line, and every episode of Quiet, Please begins with a sentence or two that hooks you, beguiling your curiosity, and demanding your attention.  Most episodes are minimalist in production, with only one or two actors, very little in the way of sound effects, and Chappell's deadpan, almost casual delivery as the narrator.  But, for all of that, the writing is so incredibly good that each episode is suspenseful, humorous, and darkly thrilling, all at once.  Long regarded by historians as among the best in horror, in any medium, Quiet Please continues to delight.
