The Frances Langford Show was a summer replacement for the popular Burns and Allen show under the heading of Maxwell House Coffee Time . Burns and Allen ran from 1945 to 1947. During the 13 week summer breaks from the show , NBC and Maxwell House found replacement shows to keep the program going. For the 1947 summer season, Francis Langford, famous singer and entertainer, was given a musical variety show.
