Favorite Story is an American radio show that brought classic literature to life through dramatic retellings.  Favorite Story first aired on KFI Los Angeles starting in 1946 before the show gained enough ratings to go national.  Classics such as Alice 's Adventures in Wonderland, Wuthering Heights, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde , and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein all get wonderful treatment on Favorite Story.
