Sponsored by Philip Morris, Author's Playhouse is an expertly written anthology series of a very high quality.  Created and directed by Wynn Wright, the show utilized the writings of famous short story authors and playwrights.

The series includes such stories as Woman's Work by Elizabeth Dunn and The Snow Goose by Paul Gallico.  Many of the shows are quite amusing and are terrific portraits of the ethics of an era though the vantage point of a number of artistic voices.
