Axel Foley is a Detroit cop who is thrilled to see his best friend Mikey from California. Soon after, Mikey is killed right before Axel by a guy named Zack. Axel travels to Beverly Hills to find Zack. He visits his friend Jenny and finds out that Zack work's for Jenny's boss, Victor Maitland, an art gallery owner. He is a drug lord using the art gallery to conceal his work. It is up to Axel to put a stop to him.
