The Soviets have built a contemporary new jet fighter by the name of 'Firefox'. The British start to become distressed thinking the jet will be used against them. Plus there is news going around that the jet cannot be detected on radar. They assign former Vietnam War pilot Mitchell Gant on a surreptitious assignment to the Soviet to steal the Firefox.
