This 1982 American documentary film revolves around the era of nuclear warfare.  Newsreel clips, television footage and U.S. Government produced films are included from the 1940's through the early 1960's.  The film focuses on the absurdity of the governments public nuclear propaganda during that era.  The film is quite disturbing but was made to reassure American citizens that the atomic bomb was not a threat to society.
Presents a dramatic, somewhat kitchy collage of hard-to-find clips from civil defense and industry films, depicting how nuclear war and survival was imagined in the early decades of the nuclear age.
