Philo Beddoe is a laid back truck driver and also a great fighter. His friend Orville helps him contribute important fights for him and Clyde, the orangutan he won on a bet, travels everywhere with him around the San Fernando Valley . They are always on the lookout for some drinks, country music, and the usual fight here and there. He is astounded when he encounters a delicate country singer who leaves him when she finds he is getting too serious about their relationship.
