Teresa Graves is Christie Love, the first African American woman hired by the Los Angeles Police Department.  She proves her value to the department by working as an undercover operative.  Her breakthrough case involves her infiltrating and then bringing down a major drug ring.  Christie proves that she has the brains as well as the beauty to bring down the bad guys.

This made-for-television film was the pilot for the TV series of the same name (1974-1975).
