A mysterious young woman has been killed in a small town in California. The authorities begin investigating the crime and discover the victim had many different relationships around her. A strange photo of the woman’s dog is found and taken into consideration. The sheriff on the case starts a love affair with a woman who is mysteriously connected to the murder.
