This documentary won a Golden Globe Award for musical-documentary motion picture and is the follow-up to Elvis: That’s the Way It Is. During this film Elvis Presley starts a tour of fifteen cities in the United States beginning April of 1972. It also includes scenes from The Ed Sullivan Show and him practicing for his tour. Before the film starts, there are pieces of a forty-minute interview surrounding his life and job. His manager, Colonel Tom Parker was not content with some of the content regarding his movie career. This film was Presley’s last before his death in 1977.
