Wounded Yankee soldier, John McBurney almost dies and is rescued by a teenage girl from a southern boarding school during the Civil War. She brings him to the school and at first everyone is scared. He begins to get better and everyone finds him to be a very charming man. The entire female staff and students start to feel jealous, competing for his attention.
