A Lovely Way to Die is a 1968 dramatic mystery movie distributed by Universal Pictures and directed by David Lowell Rich.
Jim Schuyler is an ex-cop who left the department after becoming fed up with having to take it too easy on criminals. He becomes the bodyguard for a beautiful woman, Rena Westabrook, who is married to a very wealthy man.
When her husband is found dead Rena is charged with his murder. Schuyler doesn’t believe she’s guilty and takes it upon himself to prove her innocent. Along the way he clashes with a gang of criminals, and things heat up when Rena is found not guilty. She has knowledge that could mean big trouble for the criminals and they’re out to silence her.
