Tony Rome is a detective who used to be a cop in Miami Beach. He receives $200 after he finds a woman unconscious outside of a decrepit hotel and returns her back home to her father. He does not inform her father what hotel he found her at. Rome runs into some trouble when a group of guys come down to his boat in search of the missing diamond pin that was on the girl. The missing pin eventually is found, but it is fake. The rich girl’s father enlists the help of Rome to search for the real stone. People start showing up dead and Rome is suspicious of the rich mans wife. There is also a man by the name of Nimmo he is suspicious of as well.
