The film is set in September of 1942 when Erwin Rommel's Afrika Korps marched through Egypt. German Jews are part of a British unit that abducts a Canadian officer who is a leading topographer and is imprisoned in Algeria by the Vichy French. Donald Craig, an officer must come to an agreement with the Special Forces unit during an 800 mile ride through the Sahara.
