Jennifer Nelson and Bruce Templeton encounter one another in Catalina Island. She soon realizes that he is her boss at the research lab she works at. Bruce is attracted to her, so enlists her help. He becomes suspicious of her after his friend General Wallace Bleeker suspects her of being a Russian spy. They begin to spy on her.
