Johnny and his girlfriend Frankie sing together on a Mississippi riverboat. Frankie is frustrated with Johnny’s gambling and will not marry him until he stops. A clairvoyant informs Johnny that he will meet a redhead that will give him good luck. He ends up finding her, but Frankie is not too happy with this. This film is based on an old song, but with a different ending.
