Ringo, who was once a gun-for-hire, rescues a young woman from a gang of bandits and eventually falls in love with her. His best friend, Frank, is also attracted to the girl, and their friendship is strained when they go off to war.
Ringo is blinded in the war and Frank brings him home, but Ringo then finds that Frank has joined forces with men who are trying to steal Ringo's mother's land.
Somehow Ringo must find a way to stop the men from stealing the land, despite being blind.
