Stanley Ford is a bachelor and a syndicated cartoonist with a great life. The morning after he was at a friend’s party, he finds himself to be the new husband of the girl who popped out of the cake and does not speak any English. He is not fond of the idea of marriage but begins to like his new life and transforms his cartoon character to a husband. Many months pass by and he decides to change the storyline by killing off his character’s wife. His wife takes it personally and leaves. The police start looking at Stanley for her disappearance.
