Prince Prospero is a devil worshiper and invites many different people from the noble class to his castle, for he wants to feel secured from the Red Death, a disease. Prospero sends his visitors to a masked dance full of indulgence. There, Prospero discovers a man he has never seen dressed in all red with a hood. He starts to think the man is his master, the devil, yet is terrified when the identity of the man is revealed.
