This classic Academy Award winning musical centers on two fighting families in New York. There are two gangs: the white Jets led by Riff and the Puerto Rican Sharks, led by Bernardo. The hate they have for each other is strong, but when Riff's best friend Tony and Bernardo's younger sister Maria meet at a dance, there is no stopping their love. Maria and Tony plan to run away, but tragedy comes their way.
