This film is set during the 1870’s in Arizona , where Gil Shepard, a cowboy kills an infamous criminal, Beaumont and sets to claim the $8,000 reward, but the dead man’s partner, Johnny Barnes arrives to claim the reward as well. More problems arise when Martin Beaumont, the 18-year old brother of the dead man arrives in town and is determined to kill his brother’s killer. With all three parties concerned over the matter, the sheriff takes all of them to Beaumont’s grave along with Martin’s attractive guardian, Amy Carter who falls for Shepard, but is not attracted to the fact he is hungry for money. It turns out the Apaches took Beaumont’s body from his grave, which results in Barnes killing the sheriff, but he dies from wounds during an Indian raid. Shepard and Martin both end up learning a lesson. Shepard realizes Amy is more important than money and Martin learns his brother got what he deserved.
