Lem Sawyer is a local moonshine-swilling trapper who discovers a giant creature and people begin to vanish. A couple find him dying with several wounds on his body. It turns out there are giant leeches and they attack another couple. The authorities do not believe the stories they are hearing and that is when Steve Benton begins to search for answers.
