Major Lloyd Gruver is a distinguished pilot reassigned to Japan during the Korean War. He firmly believes the American troops should not be romantically involved with any Japanese woman. He starts to analyze his way of thinking when he finds himself in love with a Japanese woman. This leads him to problems with the U.S. Air Force.
