Charles Sturgis is a U.S. narcotics agent who is on the run after foreign drug exporter Frank McNally. He is right behind his unwilling collaborator, Gina Broger, to get to McNally. He follows her all the way through the 'pickup alleys' of Rome, Athens, New York, London, Naples, and Lisbon. When the international agency takes her to prison, she cooperates with Sturgis to help him find McNally and his $3,000,000 distribution all the way to New York.
