John Emmett encounters a traveler, Ann Nicholson after his car stops on his way to Texas from Los Angeles. She offers him a ride and discovers that she is trying to escape from her physician, Dr. Simmons. She is also running away from the police who want to ask her about the murder of a Central Intelligence Agent in Los Angeles. Anne comes from Berlin, Germany and possesses an important classified procedure for a 4000-mile-per-hour rocket. She carries the procedure with her in a tiny mirror and wants to distribute this to a scientist in the United States. Little does she know that the scientist is an adversary along with her doctor. Everyone as well as the F.B.I is chasing after her.
