Dr. Ben McKenna is an American physician attending a medical conference in Paris with his wife, retired musical theater actress and singer Jo McKenna née Conway and their young son Hank. They decide to take a small trip to Marrekesh, French Morocco . Frenchman Louis Bernard informs Ben that there will be an attempted assassination in London of a statesman and then he falls to his death from a knife wound. Ben doesn’t want to report the information that was given to him to the authorities, for Hank has been kidnapped by a British couple, Edward and Lucy Drayton.
