Steve Martin is an American reporter trying to find answers off the coast of Japan where a number of strange disasters have occurred. He discovers an ancient monster that could destroy all of Tokyo. Godzilla strikes at night, killing and destroying everything in its path. Not even the most powerful weapons can stop it. Dr. Serizawa finds a weapon that could destroy Godzilla, but also the rest of Tokyo.
