Frank Sinatra plays Charlie Reader who is a flourishing theater agent. He also has no problems in the ladies department. His old friend Joe comes to visit him one day and is married with three children. He ends up falling in love with Sylvia, Charlie’s girlfriend. Charlie does not seem to mind since he has his eyes set on Julie, a young actress.
