Tennessee is a stern gambler who has his way with the ladies. He has no friends, yet an attempt on his life is made and is rescued by a lonely man known as Cowpoke. He introduces Tennessee to his fiancée Goldie on the steamboat. There seems to be something strange between Goldie and Tennessee, which could sever his friendship with Cowpoke.
