Hunters illegally enter into the Sukulu country, pretending to be photographers. The country’s animals are sacrosanct and untouchable. The hunters get permission from the U.N.'s Dr. Celliers, dear friend of the Sukulu chief. The impersonators lead the animals to a destination where they can be shot.  When the natives learn of this news, they condemn the innocent doctor and his nurse and throw them into a lion pit. Tarzan leads the animals to safety and rescues the doctors.
