The three Tuttle daughters come from a musical family and fall in love with Alex, who is handsome, enthralling, and gregarious. Laurie and Alex seem made for each other and become engaged. Laurie’s life becomes confusing when Barney arrives to assist Alex with some musical ideas. Laurie is not fond of his sarcasm, but it seems they are more of a match than it seems.
