Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have just departed from the Army after World War II and unite to work together as singer and dance act. Davis finds two young ladies, Betty and Judy, who happen to be a singer and dance act as well. Wallace and Davis head to a Vermont resort with Betty and Judy. There they discover their old commander, General Waverly is the owner of the resort. A procession of confusion begins in the love department, while the four entertainers attempt to assist the General .
