Johnny Strabler is a cop-hater and leader of the motorcycle gang, The Black Rebels. They cause a ruckus at a motorcycle racing event, in which one of the gang members steal a second place trophy to give to Johnny. They travel to another town where they intimidate the residents. Some of the locals don’t mind them being there, as long as they spend money. Harry Bleeker, the local sheriff is not fond of the gang, but does nothing to stop them. Kathie falls for Johnny.
